Term 3: 21 Jul – 26 Sep.
Time:
Wednesdays, 6.30-8.30pm
Price:
$235 regular or $210 concession
Head Tutor: Glenn Hayden

The NEW Adult Ensemble led by Urban Myth Theatre Company's Artistic Director Glenn Hayden and a host of theatre professionals, the inaugural Adult Ensemble (18yrs to 108yrs) invites community actors of any level of experience to explore and develop their performance skills in an inclusive, exciting and adventurous environment.  This new opportunity will have an extraordinary experience of not only working on the floor in a professional environment but will be the source ensemble for two major productions in 2015 that require adult actors PLUS the opportunity to work on an adults-only cast production.  The Adult Ensemble will have limited numbers to ensure its members have maximum opportunity for development.  This will be an ideal experience for those who have been searching for an opportunity to expand their theatre and performance horizons and to indulge their love of live theatre by working with professionals who have trained at WAAPA, NIDA, Flinders and ACArts and Internationally.

Term 3 2014: Building the Ensemble
Term 4 2014: An ensemble in rehearsal process
*Joining the ensemble in 2014 does not commit you to 2015 activities.  Those wishing to only experience an ensemble training are encouraged to join.
2015: Production: The Adult Ensemble will continue the ensemble training and will also have the opportunity to be involved in productions.

Head Tutor: Glenn Hayden has been the AD of Urban Myth for the past 10 years directing and producing international and local award winning production.  He trained at The WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and has had a solid 30 year career performing and directing theatre in SA, WA, NSW, VIC and NT both with professional and professionally resourced community projects.  He has directed several festivals and has worked with prominent companies throughout Australia on over 70 projects.

"I am extremely excited to be working with the adults in South Australia.  My love and admiration for the kind of work we do at Urban Myth is something I am looking forward to sharing with the adult community."
