Poster Impact Senior Ensemble

Celebrating Leadership & Excellence in Young Artists

The Poster Impact Urban Myth Senior Ensemble is committed to creating excellence in art through the combined effort and diverse range of ability found in its members and professional mentors.

The Ensemble is a powerful and articulate creative voice on the national and international creative sphere.

Through an educated appreciation of great performance makers and of the history of our craft, the Senior Ensemble is our opportunity to shape the future of the arts industry by expanding the possibilities of performance-making to communicate ideas, challenge preconceptions and promote active discourse. (Mission Statement developed by the inaugural SE12)

Established in 2012, The Urban Myth Theatre Company Poster Impact Senior Ensemble was created for artists 18 plus who are committed to investigating the performing arts industry as their vocation; including those investigating performance, directing, play writing, design and administration/management.

Out at Sea/Striptease - SE12
The Senior Ensemble year offers young artists advanced workshops to develop core skills and performance making.  The program provides opportunities to work with established professional artists and arts workers throughout the year and to utilise the skills you develop to take advantage of the Goodwood Institute in various contexts as your performance venue; Studio Performances, Main-House Production, Pub-Theatre, Theatre in Education, Street Theatre, Creative Development, Staged Readings and much much more.

Weepie - SE12 (Fringe)

In addition, Urban Myth supports self-directed projects by the Ensemble throughout the year.  The company can support the Ensemble with venue hire, mentorships, grants writing, technical support, marketing and administration.  We encourage the Ensemble to create!

Macbeth - SE13
The Ensemble was born from the articulated desire of the Company’s Membership for a focused and advanced program of activities to:
